Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills | OVER 1.5 passing TDs (projection on FantasySP is 2.2)
One thing I know for sure is that gambling is never easy. But this prop feels like it could be won by halftime. The Bills are coming off a bad loss in London and the Giants have been a defensive sieve all season long. Stefon Diggs is one of the top two or three receivers against man-to-man coverage which the Giants love to play. Allen should cover this one by the third quarter.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins | OVER 1.5 passing TDs (projection on FantasySP is 2.1)
The only thing that might jeopardize this prop winning is if Raheem Mostert rushes for another four TDs (which he might do against the worst run defense in the league)! Tua is even better at home than on the road and Mike McDaniel has no problem running the score up.
Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans | OVER 48.5 yards rushing (projection on FantasySP is 64.8)
The Saints have been incredibly stingy against the run thus far this season, but the Texans seem committed to giving the ball to Pierce. What makes Pierce especially tough is that it's hard to take him down with the first point of contact. I can see him getting another 10 to 15 yards carrying three Saints defenders on his back into the secondary. If this game stays close, which I think it will, this prop will go over.
Breece Hall, New York Jets | OVER 56.5 rushing yards (projection on FantasySP is 74)
I've said for years now that the NFL is so difficult to predict because the things that look painfully obvious never seem to work out that way. The Eagles are the best run defense in the NFL. Vegas knows it, and most bettors know it. The Jets have struggled mightily on offense this year so even thinking that Hall will go over the prop seems incredulous—which is exactly the reason to take a shot on this and play the leverage of bettors who will play the under.
