Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles | OVER 29.5 rushing yards (projection on FantasySP is 41.3)
Hurts has only rushed for 27 yards in the past two games combined, but he is going to be facing a Dallas Cowboys defense that allows the ninth most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks. With Micah Parsons likely breathing down his neck most of the game, I can see Hurts being forced from the pocket on multiple occasions, making this a very solid bet.
Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints | OVER 28.5 receiving yards (projection on FantasySP is 39.2)
As soon as you see an opposing defense playing zone coverage, Shaheed’s name must be popping into your betting mind. Lock Shaheed in before this prop potentially jumps five or six yards.
Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons | OVER 33.5 rushing yards (projection on FantasySP is 44.5)
If Atlanta is losing, Allgeier sees way fewer touches than if they are leading. The hope (and expectation here) is that with a new QB in Heinicke and Minnesota playing with a rookie first-time starter, the Falcons “should” be ahead making it more of an Allgeier game than not. I’m willing to take the chance that it happens that way because if it does, it’s an easy OVER.
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens | OVER 39.5 rushing yards (projection on FantasySP is 53.2)
This prop seems to be an overcorrection to last week’s game where Lamar barely had to do anything while Gus Edwards ran all over Arizona. Sometimes Las Vegas likes to take advantage of our short memories as we remember that Lamar barely ran. Each week is a different scenario and this week I see Lamar being forced from the pocket more and needing to make more plays with his legs. He can bust this prop in a half if things play out accordingly.
