There was a full slate of MLB games on Tuesday, May 7, so there’s plenty to discuss.

Rangers 15, Athletics 8

Texas had 19 hits in a lopsided win over Oakland.

Marcus Semien had the lone Texas homer - a solo shot in the first inning. Semien finished with four hits, five RBIs and three runs scored.

Jonah Heim also posted four hits for the Rangers, driving in two runs and scoring three times. Leody Taveras drove in two runs on three hits and one walk, while scoring three times.

Corey Seager, Nathaniel Lowe and Josh Smith all added two hits. Seager scored twice, Lowe drove in two runs, walked twice and scored once and Smith had an RBI and run scored. Adolis Garcia drove in two runs, walked once and scored a run.

Kyle McCann hit a solo homer for Oakland, while Seth Brown clubbed a three-run shot. Brown also walked once, while McCann finished with two hits, one walk and three runs scored.

Abraham Toro drove in a run on two hits for the Athletics. Max Schuemann walked three times and scored twice. Brent Rooker got on base three times, drove in a run and scored once. Brett Harris drew a pair of walks, while JJ Bleday got on twice and scored once.

Tigers 11, Guardians 7

Andy Ibanez hit two home runs (a solo shot and a three-run blast) to power Detroit. He finished with four hits, a walk and four runs scored.

Ryan Vilade drove in three runs on two hits and a walk for the Tigers. Jake Rogers had two hits and runs scored, while Matt Vierling drove in two runs on two hits. Wenceel Perez had two knocks and a run scored. Spencer Torkelson got on twice and scored a run.

Josh Naylor hit a two-run homer, walked once and scored twice for Cleveland. Jose Ramirez finished with three hits, two RBIs and a run scored, while Will Brennan drove in two runs on a hit. Brayan Rocchio got on base three times and scored a run.

Diamondbacks 6, Reds 2

Corbin Carroll hit a three-run homer for Arizona - he finished with two hits and five RBIs. Ketel Marte added a solo homer.

Tucker Barnhart got on twice and scored two runs for the D-Backs. Kevin Newman had two hits and a run scored.

Jonathan India and Tyler Stephenson each hit a solo homer for Cincinnati. Jake Fraley got on base twice.

Phillies 10, Blue Jays 1

Bryce Harper hit a grand slam for Philadelphia, while Kody Clemens added a two-run shot. Harper had three hits, a walk and scored two runs, while Clemens had two hits, four RBIs and two runs scored total.

Bryson Stott had two knocks, a stolen base and two runs scored for the Phillies. Edmundo Sosa drove in a run on a hit and scored twice. Garrett Stubbs got on twice and scored a run.

Danny Jansen had two of the six Toronto hits. 

Angels 9, Pirates 0

Kevin Pillar hit two homers (a solo shot and a three-run blast) to power Los Angeles. He finished with three hits, six RBIs and two runs scored.

Logan O'Hoppe drove in two runs on four hits for the Angels. Nolan Schanuel drove in one on two hits and also scored once, while Mickey Moniak had two hits, a stolen base and two runs scored. Willie Calhoun got on base three times and scored three runs. 

No Pittsburgh player got on base more than once. 

Nationals 3, Orioles 0

Joey Meneses drove in a run on two hits and scored a run for Washington. Jesse Winker added two hits, a stolen base and scored once.

Eddie Rosario got on base twice, stole a base, drove in a run and scored once for the Nationals. Jacob Young and Luis Garcia Jr. each walked twice, with Garcia also stealing a base.

Baltimore only had three hits (and no walks) in the contest.

Rays 5, White Sox 1

Randy Arozarena hit a two-run homer for Tampa Bay, while Isaac Paredes added a solo shot. Parades finished with three hits and two runs, while Arozarena also walked. Jonny DeLuca posted two hits and a walk for Tampa Bay. 

Paul DeJong homered for the lone Chicago run. He and Korey Lee each had two knocks. Bryan Ramos got on base twice each.

Yankees 10, Astros 3

Alex Verdugo hit a three-run homer, Anthony Volpe added a two-run shot and Giancarlo Stanton hit a solo shot for New York. Verdugo finished with three hits and four RBIs, while Volpe had three RBIs and Stanton walked and scored another run.

Juan Soto posted three hits and scored twice for New York. Jon Berti had two hits, an RBI, stolen base and a run scored. Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo both had a hit and walked twice - Judge also drove in a run and scored once, while Rizzo scored a run.

Kyle Tucker hit a solo homer and walked for Houston. Trey Cabbage drove in two runs on a hit. Jon Singleton walked three times and scored once, while Yordan Alvarez walked twice.

Braves 4, Red Sox 2

Jarred Kelenic hit a two-run homer among his two hits for Atlanta. Austin Riley had two hits and a run scored. 

Ozzie Albies walked twice and scored a run for the Braves. Marcell Ozuna got on twice and drove in a run. 

Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela each had two hits for Boston, with Rafaela also driving in a run. Wilyer Abreu walked twice and scored a run. Reese McGuire and Rafael Devers each got on base twice, with McGuire also plating a run.

Cubs 3, Padres 2

Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch hit solo home runs for Chicago - Busch’s homer was a walk-off shot. Busch had two hits total, while Bellinger had three knocks. Mike Tauchman got on base twice and scored a run.

Jurickson Profar hit a two-run homer for San Diego. Fernando Tatis Jr. got on base three times and stole a base, while Jose Azocar added two hits.

Brewers 6, Royals 5

Willy Adames hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to help Milwaukee to a comeback win. Rhys Hoskins and Joey Ortiz added a solo blast each. Adames also walked once in the contest.

William Contreras had two hits and a run scored for the Brewers. Brice Turang had two knocks.

Vinnie Pasquantino drove in three runs on three hits and scored once for Kansas City. Kyle Isbel drove in a run on two hits and scored once, while Bobby Witt Jr. got on base three times, stole a base and scored twice. 

Mariners 10, Twins 6

Cal Raleigh hit a grand slam and walked once for Seattle. Mitch Haniger added a solo homer and drove in two runs total.

Dylan Moore reached base three times, drove in a run and scored once for Seattle. Josh Rojas drove in a run on two hits and scored once. Luis Urias had a hit and scored twice. Julio Rodriguez got on base three times, stole a base and scored a run, while Mitch Garver got on twice and scored once.

Ryan Jeffers hit a three-run homer among his two hits for Minnesota. Max Kepler had two hits and a run scored, while Jose Miranda had two knocks and scored twice. Kyle Farmer reached twice and drove in a run.

Mets 7, Cardinals 5

Brandon Nimmo hit a three-run homer for New York. Pete Alonso added a solo shot. Nimmo also walked, while Alonso finished with two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Jeff McNeil had three hits and a run scored for the Mets. Starling Marte and Francisco Lindor each had two hits and a run scored, while J.D. Martinez drove in a run on two knocks.

Lars Nootbaar, Alec Burleson and Brendan Donovan each hit solo homers for St. Louis. Donovan had two hits, as did Ivan Herrera

Burleson had three hits and two RBIs total, while Nootbaar walked three times and scored once more.  Nolan Arenado got on twice and drove in a run.

Giants 5, Rockies 0

Jung Hoo Lee had three hits and a run scored for San Francisco. LaMonte Wade Jr. got on base four times and drove in two, while Nick Ahmed had an RBI on two hits, and also scored once.

Michael Conforto reached base twice and drove in one. Blake Sabol got on base twice and scored a run.

Jacob Stallings and Brendan Rodgers each got on base twice for Colorado.

Dodgers 8, Marlins 2

Max Muncy hit a grand slam for Los Angeles, while Gavin Lux added a two-run shot. Muncy finished with two hits and two runs scored, while Lux also walked.

Will Smith walked once and scored twice for the Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani walked twice and scored once.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Bryan De La Cruz homered for the Miami runs. Jesus Sanchez led the team with two knocks.
