It’s time for a new week of fantasy baseball, but before we turn the page, we need to go over the top performers from the weekend.

Top Hitters

San Francisco Giants’ Jorge Soler led the MLB with nine hits over the weekend. He played in four games after the team’s doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies.

Among Soler’s nine hits, three were doubles and one was a homer. He drove in four runs, scored seven times, walked on three occasions and struck out three times.

San Francisco’s Matt Chapman, Toronto Blue Jays’ Justin Turner, San Diego Padres’ Xander Bogaerts and New York Yankees’ Alex Verdugo all had seven hits.

Chapman hit two doubles and one home run this weekend. He had three RBIs and runs scored, two walks, a stolen base and four strikeouts.

Turner hit two doubles among his seven knocks. He failed to drive in a run, scored twice and walked once.

Bogaerts had three doubles, a triple and a home run among his hits. He drove in four, scored three runs and struck out twice.

Verdugo had three doubles among his seven knocks. He drove in a run, scored five times, had a sacrifice fly and struck out three times.

San Francisco’s Tyler Fitzgerald, Philadelphia Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber and Seattle Mariners’ Jorge Polanco had three home runs each over the weekend.

Fitzgerald had six hits total, with his other hits all being singles. He drove in five runs, scored four times and was a strikeout victim six times.

Schwarber had six total hits, including a pair of doubles. He drove in six runs, scored three times and struck out twice.

Polanco had two more hits (both singles) this weekend. He drove in five, scored five runs, walked once, stole a base and struck out three times.

Yankees’ Aaron Judge and Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored five runs each.

Judge had six total hits, including a double and two homers. He drove in seven runs, walked five times and struck out only once.

Guerrero had five total hits, including a double and home run. He drove in two runs, walked three times, had a sacrifice fly and struck out two times.

Los Angeles Angels’ Taylor Ward, Washington Nationals’ Juan Yepez and Toronto’s Daulton Varsho drove in six runs each.

Ward had three total hits, including two home runs. He scored twice, walked once and struck out three times.

Yepez had five total hits, including a pair of doubles. He scored three runs, was hit by a pitch, had two sacrifice flyouts and was not a strikeout victim.

Varsho had just two hits, but both were home runs. He walked once, scored three runs, had a sacrifice flyout and struck out two times.

Angels’ Nolan Schanuel walked five times to go along with his four hits. He had two homers among his knocks, drove in four runs and scored four times. Schanuel was also hit by a pitch and was a strikeout victim twice.

Los Angeles Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani walked four times and also posted four hits. He had a double and a homer, drove in two runs, scored three times, stole three bases and struck out four times.

Cincinnati Reds’ Elly De La Cruz led the league with four stolen bases this weekend.

He had three singles for his weekend knocks, while also walking once. He did not score a run or drive anyone in. De La Cruz was a strikeout victim three times.

Miami Marlins’ Xavier Edwards and Washington’s CJ Abrams stole three bases each.

Edwards had five hits, including a double, triple and homer. He drove in a run, scored twice, walked three times, had a sacrifice hit and struck out just twice.

Abrams had two singles and two walks this weekend. Both hits were singles, while he also drove in two runs, scored twice and struck out on five occasions.

Dodgers’ Gavin Lux had four hits and three walks over the weekend. He homered once among his knocks, drove in three runs, scored twice, was hit by a pitch and struck out three times.

Detroit Tigers’ Matt Vierling also had four hits and three walks. He hit a double among his hits, scored three runs, stole two bases and struck out two times.
