Top Hitters

Philadelphia Phillies’ Bryce Harper led the MLB with four hits on Tuesday. He doubled three times and singled once. Harper did not record any other statistics.

Arizona Diamondbacks’ Christian Walker, Philadelphia’s Trea Turner, Baltimore Orioles’ Cedric Mullins, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Tommy Edman and Atlanta Braves’ Michael Harris II all hit two home runs.

Walker drove in three runs, scored twice and struck out twice.

Turner also had a single in the contest. He drove in four runs, scored twice and struck out once.

Mullins drove in three runs, walked once, stole a base and scored twice.

Edman drove in two runs and scored twice.

Harris added a single at the plate. He drove in two runs, scored twice and struck out once.

Toronto Blue Jays’ Ernie Clement, Minnesota Twins’ Trevor Larnach and Detroit Tigers’ Parker Meadows all scored three runs.

Clement singled and tripled for his two knocks. 

Larnach had a single and three walks.

Meadows singled, homered and walked twice. He drove in three runs.

San Diego Padres’ Manny Machado joined Turner with a league-leading four RBIs. Machado had a single and a home run. He scored once and also was a strikeout victim.

Seattle Mariners’ Justin Turner had a single and two walks on Tuesday. He scored a run as well.

Pittsburgh Pirates’ Andrew McCutchen homered and walked twice. He drove in three runs and scored once.

Baltimore’s Anthony Santander singled and walked twice. He scored a run and struck out once.

Cincinnati Reds’ Elly De La Cruz singled and walked twice. He stole two bases, scored a run and struck out twice.

Texas Rangers’ Wyatt Langford had two singles and stolen bases. He also struck out once.

Seattle’s Victor Robles had three hits and a walk. He singled twice and doubled once, along with stealing a base.

Miami Marlins’ Jhonny Pereda singled three times on Tuesday. He drove in a run and scored once.

Milwaukee Brewers’ William Contreras singled three times as well. He drove in a run and scored one time.

Chicago Cubs’ Nico Hoerner had two singles and a double. He drove in a run and struck out once.

St. Louis Cardinals’ Brendan Donovan singled three times.

Tampa Bay Rays’ Junior Caminero had three singles and a walk. He drove in a run and scored once as well.

Los Angeles Angels Niko Kavadas singled three times on Tuesday. He also struck out once.

Houston Astros’ Jose Altuve singled twice and doubled once. He drove in two runs and also walked.

Atlanta’s Matt Olson had two singles, a double and a walk. He drove in two runs and scored once.

Atlanta’s Ramon Laureano had two singles and a double. He drove in three runs and scored once.

San Diego’s Luis Arraez singled three times and scored twice.

Cubs’ Seiya Suzuki singled twice and doubled once. He also drove in a run, scored once and struck out twice.

Minnesota’s Kyle Farmer drove in three runs on a single and a home run. He walked once and scored a second run.

Cleveland Guardians’ Lane Thomas doubled and homered on Tuesday. He drove in three runs and scored twice.

Atlanta’s Sean Murphy had a single and a home run. He drove in three runs, was hit by a pitch, scored once and struck out twice.

San Diego’s Fernando Tatis Jr. drove in three runs on a single and a home run. He scored once and struck out twice.

Detroit’s Riley Greene posted three RBIs on a single and triple. He also walked once, scored twice and struck out once.

Top Starting Pitchers

Detroit’s Keider Montero faced the minimum in a complete game shutout winning effort on the mound. He allowed three hits, while striking out five and walking none.

Kansas City Royals’ Seth Lugo got a win after tossing seven shutout innings. He allowed three hits, while punching out 10 and walking none.

Minnesota’s Pablo Lopez got a win after working seven innings. He allowed four unearned runs on eight hits and a walk, while striking out 10.

Arizona’s Zac Gallen was also a winner after tossing five scoreless frames. He allowed two hits and two walks, while striking out seven.

Oakland Athletics’ JP Sears didn’t earn a decision despite working six scoreless innings. He allowed four hits and two walks, while striking out one.

Cincinnati’s Rhett Lowder got a win after working five scoreless frames. He gave up five hits, while striking out three and walking none.

Baltimore’s Albert Suarez earned the win after tossing six innings. He allowed a run on four hits and two walks, while striking out eight.

Toronto’s Chris Bassitt got the victory after working six innings. He allowed a run on five hits, a walk and two hit batters, while punching out eight.

Houston’s Spencer Arrighetti didn’t earn a decision after allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out seven along the way.

Milwaukee’s Aaron Civale got a win after giving up two runs on three hits and a walk over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out a pair.

Top Relief Pitchers

Pittsburgh’s Aroldis Chapman, Cincinnati’s Emilio Pagan, Milwaukee’s Devin Williams, Baltimore’s Seranthony Dominguez, Cubs’ Porter Hodge and San Diego’s Robert Suarez all earned saves on Tuesday.

Chapman allowed a run on three hits. He struck out two to still claim the save.

Pagan allowed two hits and a walk, but struck out three to escape unscathed.

Williams gave up a hit and walk in his inning of work, but got two strikeouts to put up a zero.

Dominguez allowed a hit in his inning of work. He struck out a pair.

Hodge gave up a walk in his inning. He did not record a strikeout.

Suarez got the final four outs for his save. He allowed a hit, while striking out two.

Atlanta’s Jesse Chavez got a win out of the bullpen after working three scoreless innings. He allowed a hit, while striking out three.

Atlanta’s John Brebbia also worked three scoreless frames. He walked two batters, while also striking out two.

Miami’s George Soriano tossed three scoreless innings out of the bullpen. He allowed a hit, walk and hit batter, while punching out four.

Chicago White Sox’s Sean Burke tossed three innings as well. He gave up an unearned run on three hits and a walk, while striking out three.

Atlanta’s Luke Jacksonworked two scoreless frames. He allowed a hit and walk, while striking out three.

Houston’s Bryan Abreu struck out five of the six batters he faced in a two-inning outing.

Cleveland’s Pedro Avila earned a win after working two scoreless frames. He gave up two hits, and did not record a strikeout.

Seattle’s Eduard Bazardo also worked two scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, while striking out three.

Oakland’s Hogan Harris got a win after tossing two innings. He allowed an unearned run on a hit, while striking out three.

St. Louis’ John King struck out two of the six batters he faced in two scoreless innings.

Arizona’s A.J. Puk struck out the side in a 1-2-3 inning.
