Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs hit for the first cycle of 2026 yesterday against the Rockies. It was a slow start for PCA after a breakout 2025 season, but he has really come on recently, batting .340 with eight home runs and seven doubles over the past month.

He was on deck when the Cubs won in the bottom of the ninth yesterday; it would have been a fitting end to a big day if he would have walked it off. Either way, Chicago has to be relieved to see Crow-Armstrong looking more like the All-Star that he was last season.

Moving to fantasy baseball, let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Tuesday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Zebby Matthews, Minnesota Twins @ Texas Rangers

Matthews was listed here before his last start against the Tigers, and he had a rough outing, allowing nine hits, seven runs, and three homers in six innings. Matthews is always good with walks, and though his strikeout rate is down a bit this year, it's still close to average. The issue is that he gets hit too hard, particularly giving up eight home runs in 36 1/3 innings this season. His career rate is one homer allowed every five innings, a well-worse-than-average mark

Texas ranks in or very close to the bottom 10 in essentially every offensive box stat, the main thing we look for when choosing teams to stream against. I have talked often about how their home park is a major factor, as it plays as one of the best pitcher's parks in the league. This game takes place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, giving the pitchers an extra boost (Kumar Rocker of the Rangers is also intriguing here, though the Twins have been better offensively).

Matthews is a low-to-mid-level streamer. I like what he does with walks and strikeouts, but Matthews just gives up too many runs to trust consistently. The location of this game helps his outlook.

Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Diego Padres

The Padres are maybe our favorite fantasy target right now, as they rank near the bottom in most offensive areas. They don't strike out a lot, the only thing that would really raise their level, but San Diego has also continued to struggle over the past 30 days, showing ineptitude both recently and over the full season.

Pallante is decent in every area except strikeouts, where he has been a below-average pitcher his entire career. That rate is up this year from his career number (18.8% versus 16.5%), but it's still well below the league average around 22%. Pallante is a perfectly reasonable streaming pitcher to consider when the matchup is right, but he doesn't have a high ceiling, capping his value a bit.

Pallante is a low-to-mid-level streamer. I like his numbers just fine, and I love the matchup, but with the lower strikeout numbers, the ceiling just isn't there to expect a great outing.

Tyler Phillips, Miami Marlins @ Philadelphia Phillies

Phillips has mostly worked out of the bullpen this season, starting just three games out of 19 appearances. He has been in the rotation for the last three rounds, combining for 14 2/3 innings, 15 hits, six runs, six walks, and 10 strikeouts. Those are OK numbers; over the full season, Phillips has done fantastic limiting runs while walking too many batters and not striking out enough. Things won't be as easy working as a starter, but Phillips has been fine this season.

The Phillies are one of a few teams that have struggled mightily over the full season and continued to falter offensively over the past month. Though their record is positive (39-33), and Philadelphia has done well in the win/loss columns recently, the offense continues to be a major issue for a team that was seen as a true contender. There is still time to turn things around, but we can look at the Phillies as a regular target right now.

Phillips is a low-to-mid-level streamer. His season stats are a little misleading due to how much time he spent in the bullpen, and his K and BB rates are both on the wrong side, but there's a little intrigue here, particularly with a good matchup.

Kodai Senga, New York Mets @ Cincinnati Reds

Brady Singer, Cincinnati Reds vs. New York Mets

We'll finish today with a game in which we can target both teams with streaming pitchers. Cincinnati started the season hot but was riding a streak of good luck more than anything; they are now three games under .500 and in last-place in the NL Central. The Mets started horribly and have improved, but they are another group that has low rankings in offensive stats both over the full season and the past month, showing sustained struggles at the plate. They are also in last place in their division, eight games below .500 (Cincinnati won yesterday's game between these teams 12-0).

Senga makes his return from the IL in this game, last pitching on April 26. It was a ROUGH start to the season before that stint, as Senga gave up 26 hits, 21 runs, and five homers in just 20 innings. While his strikeout rate was a little above average, Senga was walking way too many guys, a problem his whole career.

Singer has had a poor start of his own in 2026, combining for 61 innings, 80 hits, 42 runs (38 earned), and 17 home runs. That last number is obscene, and though that rate will surely come down, Singer has allowed at least one home run in 10 of his 13 starts, a major issue. His strikeout rate is also way down, so Singer isn't making up for poor performance elsewhere by racking up Ks.

Senga and Singer are both low-to-mid-level streamers. They have good matchups, and both pitchers have been good with strikeouts in their careers, so we can maybe expect decent numbers there (especially from Senga), but with both of their performances being negative so far, it's hard to expect big things.
