Marlins 6, Rays 2

Roddery Munoz claimed his second win after striking out seven over five innings for Miami. He allowed two runs on four hits and a walk.

Andrew Nardi earned a hold before the Marlins pulled away.

Taj Bradley took the loss after allowing four runs on four hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out six along the way.

Orioles 10, Blue Jays 4

Grayson Rodriguez improved to 13-4 after striking out eight batters over six solid innings. He allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks. Rodriguez will carry a 3.86 ERA into his next start.

Paolo Espino allowed four runs on five hits and three walks over four innings in his start for Toronto. He struck out one batter.

Yankees 6, Phillies 5

Nestor Cortes picked up his fifth win after working 5 1/3 innings for New York. He allowed three runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out six batters.

Luke Weaver, Tommy Kahnle and Mark Leiter Jr. all earned holds for the Yankees. Clay Holmes picked up his 22nd save after working a scoreless ninth inning.

Cristopher Sanchez fell to 7-7 after allowing six runs on eight hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out seven along the way. Sanchez still has a 3.36 ERA on the season.

Twins 8, Mets 3

Pablo Lopez improved to 10-7 after striking out seven over six frames. He gave up two runs on three hits and three walks.

Luis Severino took the loss after being tagged for six runs on six hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out two. Severino is now 7-4 and has a 3.93 ERA.

Royals 10, White Sox 3

Brady Singer improved to 8-6 after tossing the first seven innings for Kansas City. He allowed three runs on six hits, while striking out four and walking none. Singer has a 2.88 ERA this season.

Lucas Erceg earned a hold before KC blew the game open.

Drew Thorpe was dealt the loss after allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out no batters in the outing.

Braves 6, Brewers 2

Chris Sale started for Atlanta, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six batters along the way. Sale has a 2.71 ERA this season.

Pierce Johnson got the next four outs and earned the win, his fourth of the season.

Freddy Peralta allowed two runs on three hits and two walks over six innings in his start for Milwaukee. He struck out seven along the way.

Jared Koenig pitched next and took the loss after allowing two unearned runs.

Cardinals 10, Rangers 1

Michael McGreevy earned a win in his MLB debut for St. Louis. He allowed a run on five hits and one walk, while striking out three.

Andrew Heaney fell to 4-11 after allowing six runs on six hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out two along the way.

Diamondbacks 5, Nationals 4

Zac Gallen improved to 9-5 after allowing just one run over six innings in his start for Arizona. He gave up six hits and a walk. Gallen has a 3.56 ERA this season.

Paul Sewald earned a hold later in the game despite allowing two runs. Ryan Thompson got his first save after getting the final two outs.

MacKenzie Gore fell to 6-9 after allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out one batter.

Red Sox 3, Mariners 2 (10 inn.)

Brayan Bello started and struck out seven over 6 1/3 innings for Boston. He allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks.

Zack Kelly got the win after pitching a scoreless 10th inning.

George Kirby started for Seattle, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out two batters and now has a 3.04 ERA on the season.

Jonathan Diaz took the loss after allowing the unearned run in the 10th.

Cubs 13, Reds 4

Kyle Hendricks earned the win and improved to 3-9 for Chicago. He allowed three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings, while striking out four.

Nick Lodolo fell to 8-4 after being shelled in 5 2/3 innings. He allowed eight runs on 11 hits. Lodolo did finish with six strikeouts.

Astros 5, Pirates 4

Framber Valdez struck out 10 over six innings and got the win for Houston. He allowed four runs on six hits and no walks. Valdez is now 10-5 and has a 3.56 ERA on the season.

Jake Woodford started for Pittsburgh, allowing three unearned runs on two hits over five innings. He struck out three and walked none.

Jalen Beeks earned a hold before Colin Holderman was charged with a blown save and loss.

Padres 8, Dodgers 1

Dylan Cease worked the first 5 2/3 innings for San Diego, allowing a run on three hits and three walks. He struck out six and now has a 3.42 ERA on the season.

Clayton Kershaw took the loss after allowing seven runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk. He did not record a strikeout.

Rockies 2, Angels 1

Kyle Freeland improved to 3-4 after working seven strong innings for Colorado. He allowed a run on six hits, while striking out six and walking none.

Tyler Kinley earned a hold before Victor Vodnik picked up his fourth save.

Davis Daniel started for Los Angeles and worked the first five innings. He allowed a run on five hits and a walk, while striking out five.

Hans Crouse eventually took the loss after allowing a run in an inning of work.

Giants 1, Athletics 0

Logan Webb twirled a gem for San Francisco. He worked a complete game shutout, allowing just five hits and a walk along the way. Webb struck out six and lowered his ERA to 3.49 for the season.

Ross Stripling took the tough loss for Oakland. He allowed a run on four hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings. Stripling did not record a strikeout.
