Rookie Sensation TJ Rumfield Blasts His Way into Every-Week Fantasy Relevance

TJ Rumfield is cementing his place in Colorado franchise lore, putting together a historic rookie campaign that has him pacing alongside some of the organization's greatest debut seasons. Slotted in as the primary everyday starter at first base, the 26-year-old has taken full advantage of his secure lineup role. While the rebuilding Rockies sit in last place in the NL West with a 28-47 record, Rumfield has provided a bright spot in the middle of their batting order, displaying excellent maturity and a secure grasp on a premium run-producing role.

Our models look highly favorably upon Rumfield's categorical contributions, which are heavily amplified by his home park. Holding a strong .278 batting average and .478 slugging percentage over 72 games, his actual production has already surpassed our initial conservative season projections of 10 homers and 35 RBIs.
