There were 12 MLB games played on Monday, July 29, and now it’s time to go over the top performers from the day.

Blue Jays 8, Orioles 4 (Game 1)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a solo homer for Toronto. He had four hits, three RBIs, a walk and two runs scored in total.

George Springer had a hit, three walks, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored for the Blue Jays. Steward Berroa had a hit, walk, two stolen bases, an RBI and two runs scored. Ernie Clement had two knocks and a run scored, while Leo Jimenez and Kevin Kiermaier each had two hits and a run scored. 

Jordan Westburg hit a two-run homer for Baltimore, while Colton Cowser added a solo blast. Westburg had two hits, RBIs and runs scored in total, while Cowser had another hit and RBI.

Ryan Mountcastle had a hit and a walk for the Orioles.

Orioles 11, Blue Jays 5 (Game 2)

Anthony Santander hit a two-run bomb for Baltimore, while Mountcastle added a solo homer. Mountcastle had three hits, two RBIs, a walk and two runs scored total, while Santander had two hits, RBIs and runs scored, along with a walk.

Westburg finished with three hits, two RBIs and a run scored for the Orioles. Cowser had a hit, walk, RBI and two runs scored, while Gunnar Henderson had a hit, walk and run scored. 

Baltimore’s Ramon Urias drove in two runs and walked twice. James McCann had a hit, was plunked by a pitch, drove in a run and scored once.

Addison Barger hit a three-run blast for Baltimore. Guerrero added a solo bomb. Guerrero had three total hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Spencer Horwitz had two knocks and runs scored for Toronto. Alejandro Kirk had three hits.

Guardians 8, Tigers 4

Jose Ramirez hit two home runs (two solo shots) to power Cleveland. He finished with three hits, RBIs and runs scored. Bo Naylor added a three-run blast.

Josh Naylor had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored for the Guardians. 

Wenceel Perez hit a two-run homer for Detroit. Dillon Dingler had a hit, walk and RBI in his MLB debut.

Bligh Madris had a hit, walk and run scored for the Tigers. Justyn-Henry Malloy walked once and had one hit.

Yankees 14, Phillies 4

Aaron Judge hit two bombs (a two-run shot and solo blast) for New York. Jazz Chisholm Jr. also homered twice (a two-run bomb and solo homer). Ben Rice hit another solo shot and Anthony Volpe cracked a two-run homer.

Chisholm also walked once in the contest. Rice added a second hit and run scored, while Volpe also had a second hit and run scored. 

Juan Soto had three hits, three RBIs and two runs scored for the Yankees. Alex Verdugo had a hit, two walks and two runs scored. Austin Wells had a hit and two RBIs. Gleyber Torres had a hit, walk and run scored.

Brandon Marsh hit a solo homer for Philadelphia. He had a second hit and RBI. Bryson Stott had two hits and a run scored, while Kyle Schwarber walked three times.

Red Sox 14, Mariners 7

Masataka Yoshida and Romy Gonzalez hit two-run homers for Boston, while Dominic Smith added a solo blast. Yoshida finished with three hits, four RBIs and two runs scored, Gonzalez also walked once and Smith had a second hit, RBI and run scored.

Jarren Duran had two hits, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored for Boston. Wilyer Abreu had two hits, RBIs and runs scored, while Ceddanne Rafaela had two knocks and runs scored. Connor Wong had two hits, an RBI and a run scored.

Randy Arozarena and Cal Raleigh hit solo homers for Seattle. Each hitter had a second knock and run scored.

Josh Rojas had two knocks and a walk for the Mariners. Dylan Moore drove in two runs on a hit and also scored once.

Reds 7, Cubs 1

TJ Friedl hit a three-run blast for Cincinnati, while Will Benson cracked a two-run homer and Jeimer Candelario added a solo bomb. 

Jonathan India had a hit, walk, stolen base and run scored for the Reds. Tyler Stephenson had a hit and was plunked by a pitch.

Michael Busch hit a solo homer for Chicago. He also walked once. 

Mets 15, Twins 2

Pete Alonso hit a solo bomb for New York. He had two hits, two RBIs, a walk and three runs scored in total.

Tyrone Taylor had two knocks and runs scored for the Mets. Jeff McNeil had two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored, while Harrison Bader had a hit, walk, was plunked by a pitch, RBI and two runs scored. 

New York’s Luis Torrens had three hits, three RBIs, a walk and a run scored. Francisco Lindor had two knocks, a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Brandon Nimmo drove in two runs on a walk and a hit. J.D. Martinez drove in two runs on a hit and also scored once. 

Jesse Winker had a hit, walk and run scored for the Mets. Mark Vientos had a hit, walk, RBI and run scored. 

Ryan Jeffers hit a solo homer for Minnesota. Manuel Margot had two knocks and scored a run, Byron Buxton had two hits, a walk and an RBI and Max Kepler had two knocks and a walk.

Rangers 6, Cardinals 3

Nathaniel Lowe hit a two-run homer for Texas. He had a second hit and run, while also walking once.

Wyatt Langford had three hits and a run scored for the Rangers. Josh Smith had two hits, was hit by a pitch and scored a run. Jonah Heim drove in a run on two hits. Corey Seager had a hit, walk and RBI.

Matt Carpenter hit a two-run shot for St. Louis. Paul Goldschmidt had two hits and scored a run.

Royals 8, White Sox 5

Bobby Witt Jr. belted a grand slam for Kansas City. Hunter Renfroe and MJ Melendez added solo blasts. Witt had four total hits and scored a second run, Renfroe also walked and Melendez had a second knock.

Maikel Garcia had two hits, a stolen base and two runs scored for the Royals. Vinnie Pasquantino had two knocks, while Salvador Perez had two hits and an RBI. 

Andrew Vaughn hit a solo homer for Chicago. He also walked once.

Luis Robert Jr. had three hits, an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored for the White Sox. Eloy Jimenez had two knocks and a run scored. 

Pirates 5, Astros 3

Michael A. Taylor hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to help Pittsburgh prevail. Yasmani Grandal hit a solo shot earlier in the contest. Taylor added a second hit and also stole a base in the contest.

Jared Triolo had a hit, walk, stolen base and two runs scored for the Pirates. Ke'Bryan Hayes walked twice, stole two bases and scored once, while Bryan Reynolds had a hit, walk and stolen base.

Jose Altuve and Yordan Alvarez each had two knocks, a walk and an RBI for Houston. Victor Caratini had two hits, was plunked by a pitch and also walked, while Jon Singleton had a hit, walk and run scored.

Brewers 8, Braves 3

Willy Adames hit a three-run homer for Milwaukee. Jackson Chourio belted a two-run bomb, while Rhys Hoskins added a solo blast. Adames had three total hits and two runs scored, Chourio added a second hit and Hoskins drove in another run.

Sal Frelick had two hits and a run scored for the Brewers. William Contreras walked two times.

Marcell Ozuna, Orlando Arcia and Sean Murphy hit solo homers for Atlanta. Ozuna and Arcia also walked once each.

Diamondbacks 9, Nationals 8

Corbin Carroll hit a walk-off two-run homer for Arizona to complete a five-run ninth inning. Ketel Marte added a two-run blast earlier in the frame. Marte had three total hits and RBIs.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. had two hits, a walk and two runs scored for the Diamondbacks. Eugenio Suarez had a hit, walk and two runs scored. Geraldo Perdomo had two hits and RBIs, along with a run scored, while Kevin Newman drove in a run on two hits.

Alex Call hit a three-run blast for Washington. Harold Ramirez had two hits, a walk, two RBIs and two runs scored.

Keibert Ruiz drove in two runs on two hits and scored once for the Nationals. Juan Yepez had two knocks and a run scored. Ildemaro Vargas and Jacob Young each had two knocks, while James Wood had a hit, two walks, an RBI and a run scored.
